Halloween!

I made antennaes and butterfly wings for the girls that they decorated by gluing on sparkly things and glitter. It wasn't without incident; Talya managed to get the lid off a large unopened container of glitter and dump it ALL out in 2 seconds flat! And... that is why I had a 12 x 12ft. drop cloth on the floor. The girls had fun and spent most of the evening staring and in complete awe at all the costumes. Ari "flew" from house to house for a little while, and neither girl injured anyone else with their over-sized wings so the night was a success! Ari was the politest trick-or-treater ever (thanks to a little practice beforehand, of course) and was pretty into it as soon as she found out candy was involved. Talya just liked that people put stuff in her bag!

Pumpkin Carving Time!

The Pumpkin Patch

Our good friend Christine from Kenya (although she is currently living in New York) came to visit us for a couple of days!! Or... maybe it was a ploy just to see "The World's Largest Pecan".

Pecan Fest!

Some pictures are priceless...

Where did she go?!
